The mattress consists of three distinctive layers of foam and an easy-to-clean nylon waterproof cover. The infant side of this dual stage mattress is made with a firm foam which is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). The toddler side’s top layer of Supple Soft foam makes the mattress plusher and more comfortable for your child, making for a more restful night’s sleep. The middle layer of foam is made with a wave core foam which promotes air circulation. The three different foam layers used in the Oxford Baby Slumber Dual Stage Standard Crib & Toddler Mattress are all CertiPUR-US certified. Mattress measures 52 in. L x 27.5 in. W x 6 in. H and fits standard sized cribs and toddler beds.
